Permanent Exhibition

The permanent exhibition halls, housed in what it used to be a nun convent and, from 1931, the “Miner Home”, show what life was like at the mine. Furthermore we can learn about the characteristics and uses of coal, and visit an apartment of the colony in the 40s, the audiovisual hall and, eventually, 450 meters of the “Sant Romà” gallery. There, by riding on a mine train, we can see what work was like inside the galleries. Finally the visitor can wander around the mining colony and its area of influence.
